That would be so nice.
Except I love school, it is one of my favorite things.
A close second is waking up and rolling over and immediately having someone to cuddle with. It makes waking up so much better.
I also love sun-dried tomato hummus on spinish wraps.
New favorite food.
Joe called, I need to call him back.
I <3 slip 'n' slides.
And as much fun as I had today, I'm still so incredibly unhappy.
It's very tiring to pretend to be happy and outgoing when you feel the exact opposite.
I'm so over feeling like this.
End of story.
SO, SO, SO EXCITED!!!
Ahhh....and then I won't be exhausted all the time!!!
I'm going to need a celebratory sleepover. ; )
I had a calc test. It raped me. I took one look at it and it wasn't pretty. I managed to finish the whole thing with reasonable answers and explanations, but it took me over two hours. It was nice that he let the test run over because no one was finished after the hour and a half. I think he realized how hard he made the test when no one handed it in before the time was up. On it were limits of the sums of series that had trig functions in them, and I don't particiularly mind trig, but we had never done any trig examples in class, so when we had to prove that the series either diverged or converged, I had absolutely no idea.
I went to sign up for my classes for next session today and I found out that my sociology class I wanted to take was full, so I could only register for an English class, which is dissapointing, so I won't finish with my gen-eds until the spring now instead of the winter. It is also another three credits that I am missing out on, which is frustrating, because I really want to graduate college in three years.
I need coffee. Lots and lots of coffee.
Test on Friday, not excited. I need to make a cheat sheet and study for it, which I have yet to do. I wanted to study last night, but cuddling was much higher on my list of priorities. I felt bad that I was exhausted and kind of cranky. I don't want to turn into one of those girls who bitches and complains all the time, because that definately isn't an attractive quality in someone, at least in my opinion.
I had a fabulous dream last night. : )
I need a nap though.
I need to grow a pair of balls.
Figuratively, not literally.
I hate myself.
I'm working tomorrow night 10 pm-7 am.
I'm not exactly a night person, so it will be interesting.
In fact, I'm up past when I'd normally be right now, and it is 10:40.
I feel really bad about deleting it, and I wish I hadn't.
But there is nothing I can do about it now.
In other news, I went to my cousin's birthday party, which was alright.
Oh, and I found out I got the shift supervisor position!!!
Last night I was playing around with SPIRE, and I no longer have a Tuesday/Thursday schedule. : ( Now I go Tuesdays, Wednesdays AND Thursdays. I have no idea how I will manage going to school three days a week. ; ) It is better though because I dropped Intro to Legal Studies. According to some IGU's and ratemyprofessors.com, the teacher sucked and it was a ton of work. I also don't need the gen-eds, because I am getting it from other classes. Anyway, why work hard for a class I don't need? So out with Legal 250 and in with Education 524. It is a requirement for the education minor. It is The Work of The Middle and High School Teacher. It sounds moderately interesting, so it shouldn't be that bad, and anyway, it is only on Wednesdays. My schedule is a little more balanced because on Tuesdays I was going to have class from 9:30-6:30 and the longest break I would have is 15 minutes, and now there is an hour and a half I have free to eat and relax before Tutoring In Schools. So here is the run-down of my classes:
Math 233-Multivariable Calculus
Math 235-Linear Algebra
CompSci 121-Problem Solving With Computers
Educ 497 I- Tutoring In Schools
Educ 524- Work of the Middle and High School Teacher
It comes to 16 credits. Last year I took a total of 35 credits, and this summer I am taking 10. I also found out that if I submit my 4 I got on the AP US History test, I will get 6 credits and it will fill my history gen-ed. So, by August I will have recieved 51 credits. I need 120 to graduate, so I am debating taking 19 credits next semester and adding another class. I think it will be too much though because I also have to work, at least 15 hours a week, really. I am assistant scholarship chair next year for IGU, so I will have to be around to supervise pledge study hours, which I can do my homework during, and I also want to make time to exercise and see my favorite Northfield resident. Oh yeah, and I enjoy my beauty sleep too.
Maybe 16 credits is enough.
Oh, and I got overnight shifts next week.
Monday night 10 pm-7 am
Same on Friday night.
18 hours, plus I am scheduled for Sunday (which is time and a half), but I don't know for how many hours, probably 5.
So approximately 25.5 hours paid hours.
Not bad.
I have to work tomorrow at 1.

Lots and lots of kisses would be needed as well.
I had calculus this morning, as I do every morning. It was a painful hour and a half. We got our tests back and I only got a 68, which I am really dissapointed about. I think I could have done so much better if I had put in the effort instead of doing nothing all last week. I got a 93 on the first test, so they average together to be an 80.5, which isn't amazing, but an 85 is an A, so as long as I do well on the last midterm and final, and do all of my homework (hopefully), then I should be okay. I'd even settle for an A-, though I think I can do better than that.
Camp Keewanee started today. I really wish I was there. I miss it a lot. I think I am going to apply for a counselor position next year, if one opens up. I want to sub this year to get some experience, and I need to get re-certified for CPR and first aid. They both run up this month. It is nice that I only go to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays so that clears up the rest of the week. (This is a little bit of a lie, I do have a discussion from 1:25-2:15 on Wednesdays, but that is okay.)
I have about two inches done on my knitting so far, I accidentally turned the knitting around though last night, so it has this weird pattern now, but it looks pretty cool, and the hat is going to look like shit anyway, I am just doing it for practice, so it is okay.
I tried to post quizzes. It didn't work.
I've also decided I need to blog everday. This will not be a problem because I love to talk about myself. I also said I was going to start going to the gym everyday, but that never happened.
I have to work today, not particularly in the mood though. I need to study calc later, and I just don't want to, but I need to get back on track with studying and actually learning, because I have been slacking this past week or so.
My room looks like something exploded in it. I need to do serious amounts of laundry tonight.
That's all that is new in my life.

I got home last night a little before one after doing some serious cuddling. It was fabulous. But, I had a calc exam this morning. It was going alright, except it took me longer than I planned, and I had to work at 12, so I had to turn my test in before it was done. I feel like I wasn't going to do much better than I did though, I was stuck on this one problem. I'm a little dissapointed in myself to be honest.
I worked from 12-5, it was pretty busy, which makes the day go by so much faster. Now I am here, thinking about how great it will feel to sleep in tomorrow.
And in case you were wondering, it is very hard to be a mathamatical genius when all of your pencils dissapear overnight. It was very frustrating this morning.
Anyway, as the Republican I am, I felt I just had to share this article from cnn.com
http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/weather/06/2
It discusses how there is a very stong possibility that there will be no ice on the North Pole this summer because of global warming. It is strange to think about. Scientists are quoted saying that no immediate harm will come because of it, and now ships will be able to use the Northwest Passageway instead of going around Panama. But there is a zinger...get this: there is oil at the bottom of the Artic Ocean, which will be much more accessible now that there is no ice.
The irony is unbelievable.
So I occasionally will read the Amherst Bulletin online, and I happened to click on the link today. On the main page was an article about a seventeen year old boy who died a few years ago in a car crash in Leverett. The purpose of the article was a memorial cross put up 11 ft from the road, in front of a utility pole. This cross has been in place since the accident. Now, the people living directly next to the accident scene are petitioning the town to remove the cross. While both parties are currently in mediation and a decision has yet to be made, this is absolutely abhorrent. This family lost their son at the age of seventeen, way to young for someone to die, and if this cross gives them some modicum of solace, then by all means they should be allowed to keep it. It is selfish and insulting for the neighbors to demand this memorial be taken down, when the cross is not visable from their front doors. No family should have to fight to keep something like this, and this whole process just hinders the healing process. It's awful. My sympathies go out to this family,
I have a calc exam tomorrow, and I am not looking forward to it. I am still struggling with partial fraction integrals, though I have finally got the hang of trigonometric integrals and integrals with trig substitution.
I had dinner with my mom today. It was alright. I was listening to Daft Punk, and she asked who they were. I have no idea where she was during the nineties. Actually, I do. She was raising three children, but still. I had to educate her.
Ohhhh, I just got invited to cuddle. My night is complete!!!
